General Qualifications and Experience
Ed Hower, PE, PShas over 54 years of experience in the design and management of various ODOT, county, and city roadway projects. Ed is experienced in all aspects of highway engineering including vertical and horizontal geometric design, traffic control design, cross section analysis, roadside grading, maintenance of traffic design, and drainage design. He is also well versed in highway lighting design, waterline and sanitary sewer line relocations. Additional ODOT experience includes traffic signal layouts, right of way engineering, easement plat, and writing legal descriptions. Ed is certified with ODOT inComplex Roadway Design, Right of Way Design, and Limited and Complex Lighting Design. His recent right of way experience includes the CLA-CR351-3.03, BRO-763-1.02, BRO-763-0.65, SCI-125-0.73/2.11, HIG-50-6.87, and LAW-141-12.98 projects. Ed’s recent lighting experience includes FRA-40-21.35 and FRA-71-21.26.
